1:1 Piano Lessons

Dr. Jeeyoon Kim and Anthony Do-Hoon Kim lead a group of dedicated and passionate music students in San Diego. We offer a comprehensive musical guidance through performance, technique, theory, and aural skills.
Performance opportunities are offered through studio recitals, competitions, and Certificate of Merit evaluations. Unique to Dr. Kim Piano Academy, Dr. Kim and Mr. Kim co-teach piano masterclasses in front of a live audience every three months. Students are encouraged to participate in these exciting performance events to learn from both teachers.
We guide our students to success through lessons tailored specically for each musician. In our warm and encouraging studio environment, students progress according to their own pace, commitment, and ability. He believes that the best learning occurs whern a student feels understood, comfortable, safe, and supported.
Lessons are dedicated to excellence and to the highest standards of musicianship, whether the student is headed for a career in music or purely playing for enjoyment. We both enjoy in working with young beginners but also specializes in preparing advanced students for college auditions as piano performance majors.
